Final 4 Reasons to come to #Hoopfest2019
In case you’re not entirely convinced that Hoopfest is for you, we’ve compiled a list of reasons that you’ve got to make it out to the 30th year of the Best Basketball Weekend on Earth. To stick to the spirit of this wrap up weekend for March Madness, we’ve chosen our Final Four picks that make that last weekend in June one you don’t want to miss.
- #Hoopfest2019 is going to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before! 250,000 people don’t take to the streets for just anything, and each year Hoopfest gets a little more special. This year we’re pulling out all the stops. We’ve got new media partnerships, exciting prizes and of course plenty of swag for you to check out at our Hoopfest Store presented by Nike.
- You get to play Spokane’s favorite sport in the middle of the streets! What makes playing 3on3 basketball even better? Getting to play it where you’re normally not allowed! Downtown city blocks are shut down June 29th and 30th for all our Hoopfesters. If you can grind out some wins during the weekend, you will definitely earn some street cred.
- It’s a community event! Hoopfest brings the entire community together, all ages, all genders and all abilities are welcome. We love to see members of our community just as excited for Hoopfest weekend as we are. Nothing compares to the magic of the World’s Biggest 3on3 Tournament, it brings so many people together to share in a common love.
- Even if you don’t play basketball, there’s bound to be something to keep you entertained. Hoopfest has a festival like atmosphere underlying its basketball focused theme. This year will feature food vendors, face painting and music playing throughout the venue. So, if you’re wiped out from cheering on your team you can go relax in the park with a sweet treat and soak up all the fun.
