Spring Shootout is here, come watch!

Come watch as teams come from around the region to play in the Spring Shootout, making the tournament highly competitive. It provides a platform for young hoopers to compete as a team and show off their skills.

The Spring Shootout is the last tournament of the Spokane AAU season and is a great way to cap off the season and begin shifting towards #Hoopfest2019. Fourth through eighth grade teams from all over the state will be playing to be crowned Shootout Champions. This year’s tournament features small divisions which should provide to be an exciting weekend for everyone attending. For some, this is the most anticipated tournament of the season as it is the final chance to gain bragging rights until next season rolls around.

“The Spring Shootout is the culmination of a fantastic AAU season. The growth in these young players is evident compared to where they were in early November when the season first started,” says Chad Smith, Operations Manager, “it is a great way to provide players with competition from all over the region.”

Although the road to the championship will be difficult for the teams, it is easy for everyone to come watch the action and support these teams! Games will be held throughout Spokane at The Warehouse on Hamilton, Evergreen Middle School, the Fitness Center in the Valley, Centennial Middle School (Saturday) and West Valley High School (Sunday). Admission is free at all locations and game schedules can be found at www.spokaneaau.com.

We hope you come out and support these teams as they finish out their season, March 2 and 3, 2019. For more information about Spokane AAU visit spokaneaau.com and follow us on social media @spokanehoops.
