2019 Fitz Clinic Registration

The Fitz Signature High School Boys’ Clinic presented by Kalispel Tribe and Northern Quest Resort and Casino, is back once again for elite high school players looking to hone their skills and take their game to the next level. The Fitz Clinic will be held this year March 15-17 at West Valley High School (Spokane) and is open to boys in grades 9-11.
The clinic is named after former Gonzaga head coach, Dan “Fitz” Fitzgerald, who many attribute to the success of Gonzaga University Men’s Basketball program. Fitz served as head coach of the Zags from 1985 to 1997, and during his time led the Zags to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1995. Fitz laid the foundation for the Bulldogs to be the powerhouse they are today, by building a succession of coaches like Dan Monson and Mark Few that have continued his success.

Each year, our coaches continue Fitz’s legacy by putting players through drills that help develop an applicable skill set, thanks to a low player-to-coach ratio. Past coaches have included David Pendergraft, former Gonzaga player; Phil Von Buchwaldt, former Santa Clara University player; and Jim McPhee, former Gonzaga player.
“With a great coaching staff, the instruction at the Fitz Clinic is at the highest level and the players will definitely improve their game,” says Giff Marleau, Program Manager for the Spokane Hoops Association.

Each participant will be eligible for selection to the Eastern Washington Elite traveling basketball program – an NCAA recognized and AAU sanctioned basketball club for high school age boys in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
Registration for the 2019 Fitz Signature High School Clinic is on a first come, first serve basis and is limited to the first 100 participants.
The clinic will be located at West Valley High School and costs $150, with lunch on Saturday included. Please note, that each player will need a valid AAU card to attend the camp.
