Calling all young artists!
Hoopfest is teaming up with Moss Adams for another year for our Youth Backboard Contest. This year, we need help decorating our backboards to bring some color to the streets of Spokane. Moss Adam’s partnership with Spokane Hoopfest has played an irreplaceable role within the World’s biggest 3on3 tournament weekend, and this year they want to add a little something extra for the Hoopfest community.
We are inviting anyone 18 and under to bring out their most creative designs for a shot at appearing on these backboards during The Biggest Basketball Weekend on Earth. The theme for each backboard is open to the artist’s discretion and each entry is judged based on creativity and originality.
Here are some examples of Hoopfest 2018 Winners:
Four Divisions:
- K-2nd grade
- 3-5th grade
- 6-8th grade
- High School
- One winner will be selected from each age group.
- Only one submission per student is allowed, so give it all you’ve got!
- The winning artists’ names will be published under their artwork on their backboard.
Entry Instructions
- Each entry must be submitted on white 8 ½ by 11 inch paper (standard printing paper).
- Email to morgan@spokanehoopfest.net, or deliver to the Spokane Hoopfest Office at 421 W. Riverside Suite 115.
- Entries should include the participant’s name, grade, school and contact phone number.
- The deadline to submit artwork is June 26.
