Calling all hoopers! To help pass the time before Hoopfest 2020, and to keep us all busy during this time of social distancing, we’re going to get a little competition going… Introducing the Hoopfest Trick Shot Challenge!
Starting today, you all have one week to submit your Trick Shot Challenge video to us via Instagram or TikTok (@spokanehoopfest) using #Hoopfest2020. Did we mention that the winner will get a team entry for Hoopfest 2020?
Check out this video for some inspiration for your own trick shot!
About the Trick Shot Challenge
Don’t be afraid to get creative with your trick shot! Use a basketball, a ping-pong ball, a golf ball, a tennis ball, or even a grapefruit if you’re without sports equipment – we want to make sure everyone can play. Maybe even get your furry friends in on the action. The potential ideas are endless! Also, a friendly reminder that park courts are only open to individuals or members of the same household.
We know the perfect trick shot might take a couple of tries. Make sure you also save any bloopers you have from creating your Trick Shot Challenge video to share with us. We might even share them on our Instagram page – we could all use a good laugh right now!
Submit your video by Friday, May 8th at 5:00 p.m. to be considered for the competition. Our team will set up the brackets after the submission deadline. Once the brackets are set, you’ll be able to vote for your favorites on our Instagram page to determine the ultimate Trick Shot Champion! The champion will win team entry for themselves and their squad for Hoopfest 2020!
